The City of Calgary has embarked on an inclusive, long-term planning project called imagineCalgary - a sustainable development plan for the next 100 years. imagineCALGARY is a two-year initiative that will engage the public, and business, community and government stakeholders in a broad-based dialogue. GCI is working with the city to train the stakeholder group, conduct the systems analysis that is required, and provide guidance on the planning process as they move along.

For those concerned about quality of life in the Calgary region for generations to come, imagineCALGARY provides an opportunity to think big and to translate that thinking into a community-owned long range vision and goals. Making this happen will require the commitment and capacity of all stakeholders.
