Plamen L. Dimitrov, Ph.D., R.O.D.C. Organizational Strengthening and Management

For the past seven years, Dr. Dimitrov has played a leading role in the process of strengthening civil society in Bulgaria. He has served as a technical advisor to the full spectrum of non-profit organizations that have been working to establish themselves as credible and effective democratic voices for the people. This work has involved institutional analysis, organizational action research and interventions, management development, network development, government relations, public policy strategy development, program management, and evaluation. The project was funded by the United States Agency for International Development, and has served as a model throughout the region due to its effective implementation of a new paradigm for partnership and collaboration. He has a doctorate in Developmental and Applied Social Psychology, and twelve years of experience in various consulting and international projects dealing with organizational development.
