Laurie Nigels, Program Assistant

Laurie Nigels, Project Assistant, began working with GCI in February of 2006.She has a passion for community development and economic sustainability around the world. Laurie earned her bachelors degree in International Business and Accounting from the University of South Carolina, and minored in Italian language. She lived in Italy for a semester of college, and was able to travel to many countries around Europe. She has also had the opportunity to travel in China. In her spare time Laurie loves visiting her niece and nephew, reading books, running, watching baseball, and traveling to new places. Over the span of her career, she hopes to work and live in many different countries all over the world.
