GCI South Africa was established in 2003 to conduct small scale demonstration projects and to work with municipalities on sustainable development initiatives. GCI South Africa is an independent, affiliate NGO of GCI International, and has its own Board of Directors and staff.

community with overwhelming poverty, rampant
violence, and little hope.

staff and member municipalities to use the
EarthCAT planning process for sustainable
